THE LAVENDER PROJECT IN MONTALCINO

All economic interests in Montalcino revolve around wine in the noble denominations of Rosso and Brunello di Montalcino.

Querce Bettina diversifies its vocation as a niche producer and looks for different products and the choice falls on Lavender Angusfoglia , the mountain one, the most appreciated for its aroma and organoleptic quality.

The planting of the cuttings already occurred in the course of 2023 is preparing in the spring months to develop the seedlings and the precious spikes.

The first harvest is already planned around mid-year, although not very productive, but significant to test the quality of essential oil that will be obtained and the derivatives that will become part of the new products (honey, soaps and creams, lavender water, household accessories, etc.,)
