Querce Bettina - Grappa di Brunello Tasting Notes

Grappa di Brunello Querce Bettina

The regular grappa is available in decorated 700 ml bottles, and the “riserva” in 500 ml blown glass bottles. Following maceration and fermentation of the Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino wines, the skins are removed and delivered to the A&G s.a.s. artisanal distillery at Pian dell’Olmino, near Colle Val d’Elsa. The distillation process consists of two stages, which helps preserve the flavours of the skins and ensure that only the purest alcohol is obtained. Given the winery’s limited vineyards, production does not exceed around 400 bottles per year.
