Querce Bettina - Brunello Grape Preserve Tasting Notes
Every year, just before the wine harvest, any excess bunches of ripe grapes are picked to be turned into a preserve with the addition of sugar (30/35%) and pectin. The product is available in 156 gr and 316 gr jars.
Characteristics
A soft, smooth jam that can be spread on buttered bread for breakfast. It is also a delicious companion for fresh cheeses and ricotta, or as a contrast to tastier mature cheeses such as pecorino. The flavour of the grapes is preserved thanks to relatively short cooking and processing.
